Job Summary: You will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all aspects of video production and marketing operations within our business. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. Your focus will be on the successful delivery of video sales letters (VSLs) for Product Launches in the health supplements or nutritional supplements industry, while also ensuring excellent customer service and fostering strong relationships.

The small team reporting to you have these duties and responsibilities:

  • Health supplements product formulation
  • End consumer research and analysis
  • What problem will they solve and key benefits to consumers
  • Product naming
  • Logo and packaging/bottle
  • Instructions for use
  • Spokesperson selection
  • Voice over and casting
  • VSL design, production, editing

Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end production process of video sales letters (VSLs), from concept development to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client requirements.

Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of creative professionals, including videographers, editors, designers, and other production staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement streamlined production workflows and processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality of deliverables.

Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure the highest level of production value and adherence to brand guidelines and client expectations.

Client Management:  Not applicable.  CEO will act as a primary point of contact for client/partners. The focus is to grow and launch the D2C supplement sales as a brand and not be an agency.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage production budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure profitability and cost control.

Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with external vendors, including production studios, talent agencies, and freelancers, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to video production, direct response advertising, and digital marketing, and drive innovation within the agency.


Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Film Production, Advertising, Marketing) or equivalent experience.

Proven experience (5+ years) in video production, preferably within the advertising or digital marketing industry, with a focus on direct response advertising and video sales letters (VSLs).

Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of effectively leading and motivating cross-functional teams.

In-depth knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.

Familiarity with D2C digital marketplaces, eCommerce sales, and online customer service within the health supplements or nutritional supplements industry is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas, negotiate contracts, and interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
